The Story Behind H.E.L.P.™
"A Safer Future for Every Student"

More Than an Acronym
Traditional school safety programs often focus on high school students and adult-led emergency response—leaving younger learners underprepared and overwhelmed. Crisis procedures are often designed without considering the developmental needs of students in Pre-K through 8th grade.
H.E.L.P.™ (Hide, Evaluate, Listen, Protect Yourself) was created to close that gap. It’s a trauma-informed, age-appropriate safety initiative that empowers younger students with clear, engaging guidance—without fear or confusion.
But H.E.L.P.™ doesn’t stand alone. It’s designed to integrate seamlessly with your district’s existing emergency plans, behavioral intervention strategies, and law enforcement partnerships.
H.E.L.P.™ Strengthens School Safety By:
✔ Enhancing district-wide emergency protocols with child-focused execution
✔ Complementing ALICE, SRP, and other response models
✔ Supporting SEL, behavioral intervention, and crisis prevention
✔ Aligning with local law enforcement and emergency services
✔ Empowering educators with structured, trauma-informed response tools
Through education, prevention, and strategic response, H.E.L.P.™ ensures that every student, educator, and staff member understand their role in a crisis—building confidence, not fear.
